Micol Muratori is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher currently based in Modena, Italy. After attaining her diploma in Visual Arts at the Liceo Artistico Adolfo Venturi, in July 2021 she graduated in Fine Art from Lancaster University.

The aim of Micol’s artwork is to unsettle established divisions between the emotional and physical body and prompt the viewers to question their own relationship with themselves and others.

Her works mainly consist of drawings in sketchbooks and sculptural/collage cut-outs.

She is interested in giving shape to the human body's conflicting emotions, its drives and instability. These themes are represented with a highly expressive quality and with a surrealist

work process where conscious and unconscious realms are merged.
